Professional Background

 

My training is extensive and includes the areas of clinical psychology, health psychology, rehabilitation psychology and child/adolescent psychology. I also have decades of experience with Disaster Mental Health, providing Psychological First Aid and management of critical incidents. I’ve been in private practice since 1985 and have worked in hospitals and community agencies in various capacities. I have also conducted research, supervised clinicians and students and taught psychology classes at the graduate and undergraduate level.

 

My exposure and training in such a great variety of settings and problems have enriched my professional development, repertoire of interventions and understanding of human nature, suffering, and healing.
